What to write

What the card should say.

  • 'Dawat-e-Walima' as the heading, so it is not mistaken for the Baraat.
  • The groom's parents as hosts, and the couple's names with the bride's father's name.
  • Date, time and the reception venue with a map button.
  • A family contact number guests can tap to call.

دعوتِ ولیمہ — اللہ تعالیٰ کے فضل و کرم سے ہمارے صاحبزادے [دولہا کا نام] کی شادی خانہ آبادی [دلہن کا نام] بنت [والد کا نام] کے ساتھ بخیر و خوبی انجام پائی ہے۔ دعوتِ ولیمہ میں آپ کی شرکت ہمارے لیے باعثِ عزت و مسرت ہوگی۔

Dawat-e-Walima. Allah ke fazl se hamare betay [naam] ki shadi [naam] binte [walid ka naam] ke saath bakhair-o-khoobi anjaam payi. Walima ki dawat mein aap ki shirkat hamare liye baais-e-izzat hogi.

Mr. and Mrs. [Name] request the honour of your presence at the Walima reception of their son [Name] with [Name], daughter of Mr. and Mrs. [Name].

Can I invite some guests to the Walima only?

Yes. Add the Walima as a function and tick it only for those guests. Their private link shows the Walima alone, and they never see the other functions.

Can the Walima be on the same card as the Baraat?

Yes. One card can hold every function. Guests invited to both see both; guests invited to one see only that one.

How much does a Walima card cost?

One price per design, paid once, with three months of access. Private links for each guest are an optional pack of 30, 120 or unlimited.

Can I write the card in Urdu?

Yes. Every design has English and Urdu labels, and you can type your own wording in either language.
